How to be Interesting

Well we’ve all been there. Sometimes we feel boring. Not bored. Just boring. Yeah. That. So i was just sitting around during a smoke break and was thinking “hey i should learn to be more interesting”. So let’s delve into it shall we.

It’s the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen.
John Wooden

Firstly, be interested. In stuff. Anything and maybe everything. Notice how the wind blowing in your face this afternoon reminding you of that relaxing scene from that movie you watched. This song reminds you of that person you met. Actually listen and be interested to what people say.

I refuse to accept other people’s ideas of happiness for me. As if there’s a ‘one size fits all’ standard for happiness.
Kanye West

Secondly, have an open mind. It’s hard to seem interesting when you’re constantly undermining other people’s opinions and interests. People are different. That makes the world interesting. Stop being judgemental.

Today is life-the only life you are sure of. Make the most of today. Get interested in something. Shake yourself awake. Develop a hobby. Let the winds of enthusiasm sweep through you. Live today with gusto.
Dale Carnegie

Third, pick up a hobby! There are times when i let my current flavor of the month hobby define me was when i felt interesting, confident, and happy. Guitars, dancing, travelling, futsal. All turn you into someone who can talk passionately about something you love.
